The Return of the Torq Xponent

So I get up today, and prepare to take the extra Torq back to the music store. I walk in, and handed it back to the clerk who gave it to me.

Clerk: “Hey, thanks again. I really appreciate it.”
Me: “Really, how much DO you appreciate it?”
Clerk: “Well, I can’t do anything big. If you needed some cables or something.”
Me: “Well…”

So I ended up getting exactly what I wanted, a USB cable and a keyboard stand for my Axiom. (I found that having it sit on my desk made it really hard to play while sitting) I know I made the right decision in returning it.

The Axiom is fantastic, and everything I wanted from a MIDI controller. Everything on it is customizable, velocity curves, octave and transpose ranges, I can even set different instruments to various key ranges, depending on the program. It comes with presets for Reason and Ableton live, the two programs I use the most. This thing is leaps and bounds ahead of my current Yamaha keyboard, which I’ve been using as a simple MIDI keyboard since now. Trying it out with the Native Instruments Komplete 4 was super fun. Having velocity control (as well as drum pads)

My family can’t understand why I bought a keyboard that can’t make sound on its own.
